Scholarships for Indigenous Students
The Indigenia Arts Foundation is committed to supporting Indigenous students on their educational journeys, particularly in the field of the arts. Our scholarships are designed to ensure that financial barriers do not stand in the way of students’ creative potential, enabling them to pursue their passion without the burden of financial stress. These scholarships are available to Indigenous students attending institutions like the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), as well as other art-focused programs across the country.
The mission of the Indigenia Arts Foundation is to nurture artistic talent, encourage the exploration of cultural identity through creative expression, and empower Indigenous youth to shape the future of Indigenous arts. By providing these scholarships, the foundation aims to open doors to education, creative development, and cultural storytelling, allowing students to bring their unique perspectives and voices into the broader art community.
Funding Goal for 2025
Our funding goal for 2025 is $62,500. With your help, we can reach this goal to support Indigenous students in their pursuit of an arts education.
The funding campaign will run from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
Program Impact
The foundation’s goal is to provide 25 scholarships of $2,500 each. These scholarships will help 25 Indigenous students pursue their artistic education, alleviate financial obstacles, and empower them to fully engage in their creative pursuits. Contributions will directly support the next generation of Indigenous artists, helping them grow, thrive, and tell their stories in their own voices.
